POTD #6 Clone From vCAC version: 5.1  Property Name   CloneFrom Property Description   This allows you to override the Template that is defined in the Blueprint or define a VM that you would like to clone from.   Property Usage   I typically define this at either the Build Profile or Provisioning Group. It can be very useful if you need to use a different customization specification. An example would be a blueprint with a standard customization specification, but if assign a build profile that uses the guest agent I like to override the customization specification in the build profile to use one that installs the guest agent. It can also be useful to create a generic blueprint and provide a drop list from user to select from.   Usage: PropertyNme = CloneFrom    Property value = Name of Blueprint or VM   Recommended Placement Build Profile or Provisioning Group.
